Databases are useful for finding journal, magazine and newspaper articles. Some of the Library databases provide the full image and/or text of the articles online, while others may provide only a citation. Locate an article in the library's periodical collection or request it through interlibrary loan services for those articles not available full text online.
Availability:
View the online databases that the library subscribes to, or that are freely available over the Net, by either browsing By Subject or By Title. Descriptive information is provided for each of the databases. A separate list of cd-rom titles is also provided.
Check to see if we carry a cited magazine or journal title either in print or electronically within GateWay's Periodical List.
Off-Campus Access:
Remote access is available for many of the databases. See How to Connect from Off-Campus for instructions. Some of the databases are available from on campus only or from only in the library. Look for the off-campus designation in the listings.
